We cover AQA, Edexcel, OCR and iGCSE. Our lessons are geared towards our students needs depending on the grades they would like to achieve. For reference, the exam boards above have very few differences between them, but any differences they do have we cater to in our programming.

Yes, we provide specialised support for Special Educational Needs students. Our tutors are experienced in adapting their teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring a supportive and effective learning environment.

Our group sizes typically range from 5-15 students per class depending on your child's needs. This ensures that each student receives adequate attention while benefiting from the collaborative learning environment.

We do provide support outside of the lessons. Once your child is onboarded to a program, they will join our WhatsApp support group. This group includes their tutor and allows students to ask any questions they may have and receive timely responses.

The Smarta GCSE Grade Improvement Guarantee

Yes, we do! We're so confident in the support we provide that we're prepared to back your child's progress financially.

If your child doesn't improve by at least one full GCSE grade in an enrolled subject, we'll refund the final term's tuition attributable to that subject.

Your child's improvement will be measured by comparing their initial Smarta assessment grade with their official GCSE examination grade, released in August.

To qualify for our Grade Improvement Guarantee, your child must meet the following participation requirements:

Initial Assessments: Complete all initial assessments for every subject enrolled.

Class Attendance: Attend at least 90% of all scheduled Smarta classes for their full duration.

Exam Preparation: Attend at least 50% of weekly Exam Prep sessions (if enrolled).

Homework & Exams: Complete at least 90% of all assigned homework and exams on time, making a genuine effort to attempt every question.

Tutor Engagement: Actively participate in lessons, engage with tutors and communicate any difficulties, questions or concerns throughout the programme.

Independent Revision: Complete 2–3 hours of independent GCSE revision per day, at least 5 days per week, including schoolwork and Smarta classes. This must be recorded through weekly revision logs.

Personalised Improvement Roadmap: Complete the independent revision activities outlined in their Personalised 75-Day GCSE Improvement Roadmap, including any agreed updates to the plan.

Final GCSE Results: Sit their final GCSE examinations and provide their official GCSE results, released in August, so we can verify their progress.

How refunds are calculated

The guarantee applies individually to each enrolled subject. Where a student is enrolled in multiple subjects, any eligible refund will be calculated using the portion of their final term's tuition allocated to the subject that did not achieve the guaranteed improvement, taking into account their programme's multi-subject pricing structure.

Please note: All participation requirements must be met to remain eligible for the Grade Improvement Guarantee. Failure to meet these requirements may result in your child becoming ineligible for the refund.
