(for our 1:1 tutors this can slightly vary with each of our tutors at a minimum having 5-10 years of teaching experience in the exam board and subject your child is taking)
Do you have different tutors for each subject?
Yes, we have different tutors for each subject. Each of our tutors specialises in a specific area, ensuring they have the deep knowledge and expertise needed to provide the highest quality instruction in Maths, Science, or English. This allows us to offer tailored and effective tutoring sessions for every subject we cover.
Do you provide mock exams?
Yes, we conduct mock exams every 1-2 months to monitor students' progress and ensure they are improving. In addition to mock exams, we also provide and mark weekly homework assignments. These tools help us to track your child's development, identify areas needing improvement, and tailor our tutoring approach to meet their individual needs effectively.
How much does it cost?
Our prices vary depending on the program we design for you as we provide a multitude of online tuition services including our award winning hybrid program. To get an exact price and a program tailored to your child's needs, we recommend booking a free consultation with our experts. This allows us to understand your child's requirements and provide the best possible support.
If your child joins our award winning Smarta program and follows the steps required your child should be expected to jump on average one grade per month.
We cover AQA, Edexcel, OCR and iGCSE. Our lessons are geared towards our students needs depending on the grades they would like to achieve. For reference, the exam boards above have very few differences between them, but any differences they do have we cater to in our programming.
Do you provide help for SEN students?
Yes, we provide specialised support for Special Educational Needs students. Our tutors are experienced in adapting their teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring a supportive and effective learning environment.
How big are the group sessions?
Our group sizes typically range from 2-12 students per class depending on your child's needs. This ensures that each student receives adequate attention while benefiting from the collaborative learning environment.
We do provide support outside of the lessons. Once your child is onboarded to a program, they will automatically be added to our WhatsApp support group. This group includes their tutor and allows students to ask any questions they may have and receive timely responses.
Yes we do. Depending on the program you sign your child up for. The guarantee consists of your child doing the below. If they do not complete everything below, you will not be eligible for a guarantee.
All classes must be attended for the full duration
All homework must be completed on time
All exams must be completed on time
Both homework and exams need to have every question attempted with no feedback stating not enough effort was put in
Communications need to be had at least three times per week in any support chats student is in regarding feedback, homework, questions, etc.
A tutor engagement score of 8 or more out of 10 needs to be achieved in each class
year 11 students - 2-3 hours of independent studying is required every day 6 days per week
year 10 students - 1-2 hours of independent studying is required every day 5 days per week
year 9 students - 1 hour of independent studying is required every day 5 days per week
(If your child is taking the foundation paper, the guarantee is getting a grade 4/5, if your child is taking the higher paper the guarantee is getting a grade 8/9. This only applies if the student joined our Smarta program the same amount of months as the grade increase they want/need. For example, they joined 3 months prior to their exams and were on a grade 6 wanting a grade 8 or 9.)
